Past Nails: A Little Bling

My sister bought this nail art kit where you get different colors of flower-shaped rhinestones. It came with nail glue (which, upon reading the ingredients I learned, is just super glue), and a wood stick for easy application. She said she bought it for us, which actually means "I'll share it with you, as long as you apply it on me". Haha!

My sister's nails:

I lost a couple of rhinestones while doing this. I don't really advise using tweezers, since it has the tendency to scratch the polish you used as base. I used the wooden stick to apply the glue on the nails, then I just placed the stone on the nails by hand. There were instances where I'd get super glue on my hands, but that happened when I placed the glue on the rhinestone first. When you apply he glue on the nail first, you provide a guide where you plan to place the stone. It's easier that way.

Nail art rhinestone kit was purchased from Watsons. I don't remember the exact price, but it is around 60-80 Php.

Hope you liked this!

Sorry for not being able to blog that much, I'm still adjusting to med school! Hope you understand! Also, I've planned to do FOTD posts, but at the age of 22, I just started having groups of pimples on my face! It's terrible! I'll reschedule that to when I don't have them anymore. I really hope that's soon.

Past Nails: Pink to Red

This was the latest nail design I used. My nails are bare right now. Not necessarily for school, but just because I lack time to do it.

What I used:
For the lightest pink I used Revlon Top Speed in Candy, which I already posted about. here. The middle pink is Dashing Diva in Prima Donna Pink, which I also posted about, here. The red one is Essie in Jelly Apple.

It's really pretty simple to do. I didn't even do the it perfectly, but I liked the final product. I just used Candy as the base color, and let it dry. I then applied Prima Donna Pink on top of Candy, on 3/4 of my nail. I added Jelly Apple on the tips, in a way that the colors have an almost equal appearance on each nail.

That's it! Hope you liked it!

Pixi Beauty Week of Wakeup Makeup (Swatches & First Impressions)

I finally got to do the swatching for this product! If you weren't able to read about how I got this product, you can read about it here. If you don't want to read it, I won this product! Haha!

Pixi Week of Wakeup Makeup

I did the swatches per day!

I love how the colors in each day, compliment each other. However, if I were the one to match the days with the colors, I'd put the darker ones on Friday and Saturday. I noticed that Friday was a berry color, and the black shade was on Wednesday. Also, as I was swatching these, I noticed that some of the colors were also present in the Pretty Eye Perfection Palette that I swatched before this one. If you're interested, you can view it here.

I'm not really a fan of lip palettes, but I am a huge fan of individual lipsticks. However, a few of the lippies in this palette are nicely pigmented. The most pigmented ones are the lippies in the middle of the palette. I don't like most of it, though. I think they're just glittery gloss.

Overall, I love the concept of this palette. It's for those people who stick to just one set of colors for their daily makeup. You are even free to interchange the days! As for me, I'm excited to try out the different blush shades. I don't really try out blush that much. I could stick to one blush color for the rest of the year. That's why I think it's more practical for me to buy blush palettes, instead of individual ones. Since I don't try different shades, I'm excited to try the ones in this palette.

Would you try this palette? If you have it, are you loving it?

Hope this helped!
